Make a World of Difference.

Many girls in developing countries face challenges of poor access to education, inadequate health care,  early marriage and motherhood, domestic violence, and a lack of employment opportunities.

UPromise100 seeks to fund organizations that address these issues and positively impact the lives of girls and young women in their communities.

Our goal is to recruit 1000 members to support female-focused programs at $100/year. The $100,000 raised annually will be used to fund UrbanPromise International programs that seek to support, educate, empower, protect and care for girls and female teenagers.

Projects
we've funded

Grants are awarded quarterly to organizations serving girls and women.

Young & Empowered

Young & Empowered (Malawi) is aimed at improving the lives of children and youth of Lunzu area through mentorship, spiritual enhancing and educational programs.

The awarded grant will allow Y&E to expand their skills training program for young mothers, empowering them to start their own businesses and support their children.

Rise Malawi Elementary School

RIse Malawi Elementary School is a new project started by Madalo Chapola, who recently returned to Malawi after her 2 year fellowship with UrbanPromise International.

Funds from UPromise100 were used to renovate the building that currently houses the preschool.
